16 year old stabbed to death near Deptford Green school

A 16 year old boy has been murdered this afternoon (Wednesday 13th April) near Deptford Green school and Fordham Park

Police state they were called at 4:06pm to a venue on Angus Street in New Cross due to reports of a fight.

Police and the London Ambulance Service responded alongside London’s Air Ambulance.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering stabbing injuries.

No arrests have yet been made, with police seeking witnesses or anyone with information who can call 101 reference CAD 4776/13Apr.

There is no suggestion the victim was a pupil of the school, with little to no students present given it’s out of term time.

The exact location appears to be the Moonshot building.
