    • That’s ludicrous – eyewitness recollection is notoriously unreliable a short while after an incident , and in many cases can actually be misleading. Some poor soul is denied justice because the police have neither the budget, manpower or ability to produce footage when any smartphone of the last few years would produce quality good enough for prosecution standards. As it is, the suspect looks like a youth, and his appearance may have changed enough to cast doubt on a potential match.
