Man suffers severe bite injuries after Eltham assault

Police have arrested a man after an assault left a man with severe bite injuries on Westmount Road in Eltham.

Police were called around 3.25pm yesterday (18th October) after being called to an assault in Westmount Road.

The victim received severe bite injuries to his ear.

London Ambulance Service paramedics arrived and the he was taken to hospital. His injuries are severe but non life-threatening.

A man was arrested at the scene but its believe a number of people saw the incident on the busy Eltham street.

Witnesses can assist by calling police on 101.
