A2 closed in New Cross due to building fire

A fire in New Cross has seen emergency services close part of the A2.

The fire was reported as being under control by 1550.

New Cross, Old Kent Road, Deptford, Greenwich stations all attended the scene.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
