Two convicted after man knocked off bike and fatally stabbed in Woolwich

Two men have been convicted after the murder of Cameron Murfitt in Woolwich.

Mason Bridle from Lewisham was found guilty of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum sentence of 16 years.

Mario Gruda, 23, from Eltham was found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to 14 years’ in prison.

Attack

Cameron Murfitt was attacked on Sunday 15th March 2020 on Academy Road in Woolwich. Gruda drove into the victim knocking him from his bike.

At Woolwich Crown Court, the jury heard that when Murfitt was on the floor, Bridle exited the vehicle and stabbed him multiple times.

They then drove off. Passers by came to the victim’s assistance with police and paramedics arriving. A stab would to his thigh proved fatal.

  • Filthy scum! They, both, should have received Life Sentences with minimums equal to the age of the victim!
