Ikea stabbing update: one man in critical condition

Details of two men stabbed outside Ikea in Greenwich last night have been revealed showing one in a critical condition and the other in a stable condition.

The incident occurred at 6:33pm last night with police stating:

“The first man was taken to hospital for the treatment of stab injuries. His injuries are described as life threatening and he is in a critical condition.




“The second man also taken to hospital for treatment of a stab injury. His condition is described as non-life threatening.”

Ikea stated this morning:

“We are aware of a serious incident that took place outside the Greenwich store. The store was closed last night as a precautionary measure and we are fully cooperating with the police whilst they carry out their investigation. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”



While Ikea is expected to reopen today it is not confirmed as yet by the company.
