Greenwich man charged after Abbey Wood murder

A man from Greenwich has been charged after last weekend’s murder on Abbey Wood estate.

Police state that “Mohammed Al-Shihabi, 25 of Greenwich, SE10 was charged on Sunday, 14 March with murder and possession of an offensive weapon. He will appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 15 March.”

Police were called to reports of a fight at 17:34hrs on Saturday 6 March in Edington Road Abbey Wood near Boxgrove school.

Mazaza Owusu-Mensah was found injured, and later pronounced dead at the scene.
