Fire hits flat above Zero Degrees bar in Blackheath

Firefighters are at the scene of a fire in Blackheath this afternoon (7th July) after a fire broke out above Zero Degrees bar.

According to LFB “Around 15 people left the building before crews arrived. There are no reports of any injuries”

“The Brigade was called at 1309 and the fire was under control by 1447. Fire crews from Lee Green, East Greenwich and Sidcup fire stations were at the scene.

“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”

25 firefighters are at the location alongside four fire engines. Traffic is heavy in the area.

  • Glad no one was injured, but a fire is a miserable business.

    I had a great lime and mango beer at Zero Degrees and the pizza wasn’t bad either.

    Zero Degrees is a nice bar and I found the food and drink served to be very platable and I am a fussy eater !!

    So well worth a visit,
