Police incident closes Woolwich street
Police have sealed off Wellington Street in Woolwich at the junction of John Wilson Street.
An incident in a tower block has seen police surround the building. The road has been closed for some time at time of writing (7pm on 30th May).
Buses are on diversion.
The incident follows a high speed car accident in the same spot last night. The area is known as the location of Lee Rigby’s memorial.
