Accident closes A2 near Kidbrooke

Queues are building tonight as the northbound A2 is closed due to an accident just north of the Kidbrooke interchange.

Queues are backed up as far as Eltham. Southbound traffic is also slow with rubberneckers causing tailbacks in the opposite direction back near the Blacwall tunnel exit.

5:45PM UPDATE: One lane has opened northbound.

That’s why my narrow side road in Lee is choked with traffic. People are not willing to give way and horns are blaring.
