Serious accident in Bexleyheath closes Crook Log junction

UPDATE: the road reopened around 6:30pm and buses are now back on normal routes.

ORIGINAL: A collision has closed Crook Log this evening with road closures and bus diversions in place.

Emergency services are on scene with a vehicle reported to be on its side. According to TfL, bus routes 89 486 B16 & 96 are diverted via Oakhampton Crescent and route 14 is diverted via A2 Rochester Way.

Traffic is slow and backing up to Welling and Bexleyhetah town centre.
