Man charged with two Thamesmead park rapes and robbery

A man has been charged with rape and robbery on two occasions last week at Gallions Park in Thamesmead.

Desmond Atumkeze, 22 was arrested after two offences were reported at Gallions Park on Friday 8th November between 8:30pm and 9pm.

Atumkeze  appeared at Bexley Magistrates Court earlier today where he was remanded in custody. He is next due before Woolwich Crown Court on Wednesday, December 11.
