Eltham town centre cafe attacked last night

Another Eltham High Street business suffered damage last night with Coco’s cafe seeing its frontage attacked.

Coco’s cafe beside Eltham Post Office had its front door boarded up this morning with witnesses reporting a smashed frontage last night.

Why not give them a hand and pop in for a coffee? It was good to see them open for business again as normal today.

In other incidents across Eltham town centre Carphone Warehouse in Eltham was “trashed” in a robbery this month with police stating “considerable damage” caused.

Other businesses in the area have suffered damage including a break-in at Demelza charity shop earlier this month alongside a launderette.

Nearby Chislehurst has also seen a spate of damage and break-ins recently.

Running a site alone takes time and a fair bit of money. Adverts are far from enough to cover it and my living costs as a private renter.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
