Creek Road on Greenwich and Deptford border closed after man seriously injured

Creek Road has been closed in Greenwich on the boundary with Deptford after a man was seriously injured in a collision. The air ambulance landed by Trinity Laban.

There is heavy traffic in Greenwich with Creek Road road closed in both directions between Glaisher Street and Norman Road. Long queues are evident across Greenwich, Deptford and Blackheath with buses diverted resulting in delays.

The car driver stopped and is being questioned. Local people have raised concerns of incidents on this stretch of road. A new tower has just completed alongside bringing more pedestrians to the area.

Thanks to local radio station Maritime FM for the image.

As a private renter with a young family, the cost of living is extremely high.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
