Power surge causes problems on Eltham High Street

A brief power surge knocked tills out across Eltham High street this lunchtime.

I was in Lidl when it happened. Not the best place for it to happen. All self-serve tills went off. You can image the queues at check outs.

At least tow other stores I visited had tills out of order and the cinema had issues and I overheard customer complaints of a bank being closed.

When I left Lidl still had half their self serve tills down though that was an hour ago. It may well be back to normal now.

Running a site alone takes time and a fair bit of money. Adverts are far from enough to cover it and my living costs as a private renter.
