Heavy police presence at Thislebrook site in Abbey Wood

At least a dozen police vehicles and numerous officers have tonight entered Thislebrook site in Abbey Wood and appear to have closed parts of the area.

It’s the second large scale action in just over six months. Police launched a wide-ranging operation in the area last October.

Looking towards the site from Harrow Manorway flyover

Police were first on scene around half past six and since then an extremely large presence has been seen in the area with vehicles lining Harrow Manorway and parked in the nearby BP petrol station opposite Sainsbury’s.

More soon.

I have a Facebook page here to get news in your feed.

Running a site alone takes time and a fair bit of money. Adverts are far from enough to cover it and my living costs as a private renter.

Another option is via Patreon by clicking here

You can also buy me a beer/coffee at Ko-fi here

There's also a Facebook page for the site here

Many thanks

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
