Man arrested after car smashes into garden

Police in Welling have reported how a 19 year old man from the area was arrested yesterday after a car crashed into a garden.

He was arrested on suspicion of having no insurance, no license and theft of number plates.

The vehicle crashed into the house on Cavendish Avenue at around 1pm. The male left the scene but this arrest made shortly after.

The man was taken to a south London police station and has been released under investigation while further investigation is carried out.
