Lewisham station to see new one way entry system from Monday
Southeastern have announced that a one-way system for passengers will be introduced at Lewisham station from Monday 22nd October.
Passengers will only be able to enter the station via the main entrance between 6:30am to 9:00am and 4:30pm to 7:30pm.

Platform 1 and 3 ticket lines will be exit only.
Passenger numbers using the station have increased from 8.2 million in 2012/13 to 10.8 million in 2016/17 as numerous high rise towers have been built in the area.

It’d be nice if they re-opened platform 4 entrance and exit which has been closed for a couple of years now.
Lets hope it’s more successful than a similar system introduced at Brockley in recent months which was a disaster. Long queues formed and many passengers missed trains.
As a private renter with a young family, the cost of living is extremely high.

I also have a Facebook page for the site here
Thank you
Or another possibility would be to have stair access by Glass Mill (i.e. the south ends of Platforms 1 and 2) which could be staffed at peak times.
