Man found with multiple stab wounds in Thamesmead

Police were called last night to Thamesmead and found a man suffering multiple stab wounds.

The victim, aged in his 20s, was taken to an east London trauma centre.

Police were called at 9.43pm last night after reports that a man had been stabbed in Attlee Road.

His injuries are not believed to be life- threatening.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are continuing.

For those unsure of the exact location, this part of Thamesmead is a fair bit north of the sewer bank. It’s a few hundred metres east of Morrisons.

If you saw or know anything you can call police on 101 quoting CAD 8400/16OCT, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Running a site alone takes time and a fair bit of money. Adverts are far from enough to cover it and my living costs as a private renter.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
