Woman stabbed in Woolwich this morning – air ambulance lands by Tesco
An air ambulance landed at General Gordon Square this morning after a woman in her 30s was discovered stabbed in the back around Angelsea Road.
Peter Morley is wanted by police.
This incident follows an arson, shooting and two other stabbings over the past week in Woolwich.
The ambulance landed on an area in front of Tesco that developers were hoping to fence off, which Greenwich Council rejected, though they are trying again.

Woolwich’s already poor reputation, built up over many years, sadly continues to take a battering.
A planned film showing at Sir Woolwich tonight has been cancelled. The event was part of a free film festival.

When is this nonsense going to end? Bloody hell. Not good for the reputation of the area at all. Terrifies me considering I’ve only just moved into it! Sheesh.
I love the wide area, athough never been to Abbey Wood – knowing I refuse to go to the failure called Thamesmead. AW its shopping street has charm, I say. There have been a few stabbings and shooting in the inner of Woolwich Arsenal, and like entire London turning into an epidemic. FANTASTIC Tories cuts, well done to their voters – this your reward. But Khan has been pathetic himself as well. Need a new Ken or why not Farage (yes, freaky, but as long it ain’t the Tories)
