Back to the drawing board for Greenwich tower plan

Plans to convert the former Greenwich Magistrates Court into a 300-room hotel and construct an adjacent tower have been paused as developers reconsider plans.

An email from Cratus Communications (which has former Greenwich Council leader Chris Roberts on its board) announced a new consultation event to be held on:

Wednesday 12th September 2018: from 4pm – 6pm (Presentation: 6pm-7pm)

Thursday 13th September 2018: from 4pm – 8pm (Presentation: 7pm-8pm)

Cratus have taken over community consultation from Four Communications.

In recent days I covered how the adjacent Greenwich Hilton Hotel has submitted plans for an extension, which may have caused reconsideration.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
