Erith flats hit by fire
A block of flats in Erith has been hit by a fierce blaze tonight which broke out around 10pm.
The fire broke out at the recently built Erith Park development on Northend Road.
London Fire Brigade attended the blaze which destroyed a balcony.
This is another fire that has fortunately hit a new build that uses brick. It does feel like a ticking time bomb until one hit a new build with flammable cladding.
It is believed everyone escaped safely.
