A major fire earlier this week at a recycling centre in Bermondsey has resulted in no Windrush line services since.

The closure in quartion isn’t the entire line but the New Cross branch from Surrey Quays which offers interchange with Southeastern services.

Transport for London state an unsafe structure is near the railway. Southeastern services have resumed.

Earlier this week the recyling centre located near the SELCHP incinerator was hit by yet another major fire.

It was the second such at the site fire beside railway lines seen this summer.

No estimate for the resumption of services has been given. TfL have been contacted for comment.
