Bexleyheath Broadway unit could become Smoke and Pepper

An empty unit on the Broadway in Bexleyheath could become a branch of Smoke and Pepper under a recently submitted plan.

The chain aren’t huge with 18 across the country. They focus on grilled chicken, burgers, tenders and wings alongside deserts.

Proposed frontage

The unit in question is 84a beside the recently opened Jamaica Blue café and coffee shop.

If memory serves it was formerly Argos which closed when it moved inside Sainsbury’s following its takeover. It became a Jobcentre for a short while but closed some time ago.

Wingstop also recently opened on the Broadway and not too long ago so did a Bakers & Baristas.

  • Well It will bring an empty unit back in to use which is always welcomed. Chicken dishes and deserts are always popular. So I think Smoke and Pepper will be a great success in Bexleyheath. I wish them every success for the future and hope Smoke and Pepper get planning permission granted and open in the not to distant future..

  • It seems this is in progress. Smoke and pepper branding is already on the construction boarding covering the front
