Further plans in for new homes near Slade Green station
Further details have been submitted on plans for 48 homes beside the railway in Slade Green.
The site sits beside a spot where the loop line trains (or rounders) swing around from the Eltham line to the Woolwich line.
Passing it recently brought the plan to mind (hence taking the photo above) so I’ve had a look at the latest and seen further details have just gone in.
An outline proposal was approved back in 2021 with detailed plans following in 2024. A further submission on landscaping was made this month.

Five blocks will be located on land between existing housing and tracks.
The development would see access off Howbury Lane and is located close to Slade Green station.
Slade Green has seen hundreds of new homes recently built to the north of the station.
It’s not the only Zone 6 Southeastern Metro station to see housebuilding in the vicinity, with 558 homes now underway close to Crayford station.
