More must be done to stop gangs and large groups gathering in public places and tackling knife crime by the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan in his role of Police and Crime Commissioner For London a position he has held for nearly 10 years since first being elected to City Hall replacing Boris Johnson in 2016.
The Mayor of London needs to work more closely with the Met Police, The Justice system. Schools . Colleges, and Youth Leaders cross Greater London. etc so we can try and stop incidents like these happening on out streets.
I fear for our children and young people. .
Our country never used to be like this. What has gone so badly wrong??
Woolwich isn’t the same any more I wish that it was how it use to be when I was younger I use to come to Woolwich with my family to do the weekly shop we used to go to the market and to the supermarket that was on the high pavement. My family would be shocked at how Woolwich has changed and for the worst not better.
It was pretty peaceful to be honest. Just a new food shop giving out free food and school kids wanted some. There really wasn’t much to it.
