Bexley gain closure orders on four shops across borough
Four shops across Bexley borough have received closure order due to selling illicit tobacco, vapes & cigarettes.
The council’s Trading Standards issued orders to:
- Euro Express (Sidcup)
- Bexley Express
- Candy Shop (Belvedere)
- Lithuanian Food Centre (Belvedere)
All three have been ordered to close for three months.
The orders were granted by Bromley Magistrates Court on Friday 30th May.
An Enforcement Order undertaking was agreed and signed by the owner of Euro Mini Market located on Bellegrove Road in Welling.

Congratulations to Trading Standards and Bexley Council on gaining the order to get these shops closed for 3 months.for selling illicit vapes, tobacco and cigarettes.
They can be very harmful to people’s health. I hope other Local Authorities follow Bexley Council example and get more of these illicit vapes, tobacco and cigarettes off the market to also safeguard youngsters from using them as they are often sold cheaply by retailers.
Forget how harmful vapes are. These vile shops are spreading like a cancer across the country and need to be stopped.
