Eltham High Street shop redevelopment plan submitted
An application has been made to demolish a building on Eltham High Street and construct a replacement.
The site sits opposite Vue cinema and is home to a Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice shop.
The current structure is an attractive little building though shorter than those on either side. Its replacement would be taller and include six flats if approved.
The sweep and building line of an adjacent post-war building including a number of shops is referenced in the design.
The application can be viewed here on the Greenwich Council website.
