Former Greenwich pub replacement has unit for sale at £350k

Commercial space at the site of a former Greenwich pub is now up for sale at £350,000.

The handsome Thames Inn stood on site before demolition for a block of flats above a commercial unit.

Before demolition

The building has been complete for some time with no one taking on the unit, which is only the shell and core so fit out would also fall on any purchaser.

Replacement building

The ground floor frontage isn’t the best, to be polite.

Those windows almost look ready for conversion to residential after no owner of the commercial unit comes forward.

I mean it hardly looks like a bar, pub or shop frontage.

This area probably could sustain a decent pub or venue given thousands of new homes and proximity to student accommodation, but I doubt it at prices being asked.

Before demolition

While tired in its last years it offered some character to the area.

Details of the new unit on offer can be seen here.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
