HMV set to return to Bexleyheath shopping centre

HMV are set to open a branch in the Broadway shopping centre in Bexleyheath.

The company are looking for staff as they return to the town after closing a two-storey shop in the centre some years ago.

The company went through a tumultuous period for some years though recently appear to have found stability.

Other branches feature areas not as impacted by wider downturns in music and video sales, with a large focus on vinyl, clothing and headphones.

The former Bexleyheath store was always one of the highlights for me in the town, with games at the back of the ground floor if I recall correctly. I might even have one or two DVDs from the early 2000s still in their original cellophane packaging…

Adverts are far from enough to cover site costs and my rent.
