Woolwich Waterfront leisure centre evacuated

People have been evacuated from the Waterfront centre in Woolwich this evening (Sunday 3rd July) with a number of emergency service vehicles on site.

Ambulances, fire brigade and police are located outside the main entrance on Woolwich High Street.

Witnesses report a stronger smell of chlorine than is normal.



The road has been closed eastbound.
