Bakery chain Gail’s set to open in Greenwich at Nauticalia unit

A bakery chain with branches across London is set to open in Greenwich at the Nauticalia shop unit.

Now closed

While the chain has dozens of branches, this is the one of first in south east London though there is another in Blackheath.

I approved, windows will be opened up again after panels were installed.

A red canopy will also adorn the structure

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.

  • It will be good to have another nice bakery providing a good range of products in Greenwich Town Centre.. I am sure it will be used by residents and tourist a like as more people have chosen to shop locally and support local businesses, since the start of the pandemic.

  • They at least make their own bread

  • I know it is a bakery that makes it’s own fresh bread. I am not suire about the coffee shop. But if there is enough passing trade which there is in Greenwich Town Centre why not have a coffee shop. It is better than a betting shop !!
