Housing block proposed in Dartford beside 700-home development
Weston Homes have applied to build a new housing block alongside their Dartford development Mill Ponds which is now approaching completion.
The site originally had plans for a retail unit but residential usage above a commercial unit is now on the cards.
Designs have evolved from yellow brick to red.
Massing and building height tapers down from taller blocks on one side to smaller industrial units on the other.
Brick detailing at upper floors breaks up the façade.
Car parking spaces are set at 14 with excellent public transport links via nearby Dartford station.
