Large police presence after public order incident around Stratford station

A large police presence is currently around Stratford station and the approach to Westfield shopping centre after a public order incident, arrests and reported fights.

Police dogs, tasers and the force’s helicopter have been reported.

Stop and search powers have been enhanced until 3am.

A woman was also seen being treated in the tube station.

  • The Sun has reported this incident. Stating around 100 youths were involved in an incident in Stratford East London throwing objects and bottles at Police Officers. I hope the lady being treated a Stratford Station is ok and not seriously hurt.
