Man “pulls knife on woman” at Lewisham station

Numerous police vehicles descended on Lewisham station tonight after an incident at the station.  An ambulance also arrived.

Unconfirmed reports state an attempted robbery occurred on a train at Platform 2 with a man pulling a knife on a female passenger.

Police could be seen on the station in images from @icyapril on Twitter.

The train is now on the move with services returning to normal.

  • I saw one comment on social media that said the suspect ‘lit up like a Christmas tree’ as the police tasered him…..
