High winds also causing Southeastern rail issues – blanket speed restrictions imposed
Transport disruption is not just limited to Dartford bridge being closed due to high winds but also rail this morning as Network Rail implement a blanket 50mph speed limit on the network in London and Kent.
Trees have fallen onto tracks this morning at:
- Elmers Ends
- Broadstairs
- Stonegate
- Snodland
- Deal
With high winds expected until at least 4pm it could well be a day of even more disruption.
