Man in 50s airlifted to hospital after Erith stabbing

Police and paramedics were called to an Erith industrial estate this morning after a man in his 50s was stabbed.

The stabbing occurred near businesses on Manor Road at about 8.50am.

The man was air-lifted to hospital by the Air Ambulance.  He is in a serious condition though fortunately his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Met Police say no arrests have been made and a crime scene remains in place.

If you saw or can assist contact police on 101.
