Assault in Eltham park prompts investigation

Police have launched an appeal for help after a New Year’s Eve assault in a small park in Eltham.

The area was taped off for much of yesterday (1st January) by the Met as investigations were undertaken.

Anyone with information or was in the area near Brisit Road and Shawbrooke Road can call 101 and give reference 4988/01JAN.

The area saw a 17-year-old stabbed in late 2018.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
