Appeal to find family of man who died on tracks in Eltham

British Transport Police are appealing for help to track down relatives of an 81 year old who died near the railway line in Eltham.

In an appeal, BTP state that 81 year old Colin Riddett was discovered on 8th September around 10pm.

Police state that Mr Riddett lived in Hackney but was from Portsmouth where he had another home.

Police have so far failed to locate Mr Riddett’s next of kin or other family members.

Anyone with information can contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 866 of 08/09/21.

    • How very sad I hope the relatives of this poor elderly man can be found. So this poor man can be laid to rest by his family with the dignity and respect he deserves.
