Woolwich town centre pharmacy first in line to offer covid jabs

A Woolwich pharmacy located in Equitable House is part of 15 across London to begin offering covid jabs.

Woolwich Late Night Pharmacy is to commence vaccines next week as part of the push to vaccinate large numbers of the population. The pharmacy typically operates until 10:30pm Monday-Friday. People in priority groups should see letters arrive offering them to book an appointment using the Vaccination Booking Service and people should not contact or arrive at the pharmacy unaccounted.

The next focus for mass vaccines are the over 70s following the over 80s and priority groups, with millions of people already receiving their first injection.

Vaccination data is now available on the corona dashboard. As of 16th January, 3,857,266 people had received their first injection.

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.

    • It would be best to contact your GP if no post is arriving and in a vulnerable group, and not the pharmacy.

    • It is good news to know we have at least one site locally offering the vaccination.

Woolwich Late Night Pharmacy is well located opposite Woolwich Arsenal Station.

Hopefully postal deliveries will resume again soon in the SE18 area,
