QE Woolwich & Lewisham Hospitals not among first seven to offer vaccine

The first seven hospitals to offer Covid vaccines from tomorrow in London are to be:

  • Croydon
  • St George’s (Tooting)
  • UCLH (Bloomsbury)
  • Royal Free (Hampstead)
  • King’s College (Denmark Hill – Camberwell)
  • Guys & St Thomas
  • Princess Royal (Bromley)

The easiest to reach for many in SE London will be either Camberwell or Bromley by car or Guys in central London by public transport.

The plan is to commence vaccination from tomorrow with 7,000 administered throughout the week. A second booster jab is needed in around three weeks.

People aged 80 and over will be prioritised. A booking is essential. Plans are in place to increase the number of locations involved to around 1,000.

Any comments with conspiracy theories and nonsense about Bill Gates and the like will be deleted.

    • Had the text a month or so ago about the flu vaccine as I’m over 70

I thought vaccines were only useful before any virus arrived

      I had Covid Dec 2019…for 10 days…over Christmas
