Man stabbed as moped stolen near Mottingham station

A man has been stabbed tonight near Mottingham station after a knife point robbery of his moped.

The incident occurred around 5pm on Crossmead which is two minutes from the station near Fairy Hill recreation ground. An air ambulance landed to assist.

Two arrests have so far been made with the victim in a serious condition.

Anyone with information can call 101. It’s a brazen robbery at rush hour near a station which would have seen many commuters in the area at that time of day.

  • OMG not another one. First of all my thoughts and prayers are with the victim and his family, I hope he makes a full recovery,

Also thank you to the London Air Ambulance Crew and London Ambulance Service Crew who helped the male victim. Thank you and well done to the Met Police Officers for the two arrest.

Another totally unnecessary knife incident on the streets of London.
