Teen stabbed to death in Greenwich

An 18 year old man was stabbed to death on Armitage Road in east Greenwich last night.

Police were called at 9:30pm yesterday evening with the victim pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have yet been made.

Armitage Road is located almost directly opposite the recency built Greenwich Square development (formerly Greenwich Hospital).

This murder follows an incident in which a man was recently shot in Greenwich. The town lost its police station in 2013.

Just yesterday this site covered the planned conversion of a former south east London police station to housing, which has affected many areas in London since 2010.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting CAD 7560/22 October or alternatively contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

As a private renter living costs are very high and ads bring in relatively little to the site. I run it alone, and you can support me through Paypal with a one-off or monthly donation here

Another option is via Patreon with offers monthly payments by clicking here

Finally there's the Ko-fi option

Many thanks

There's also a Facebook page for the site here

I've lived in south east London most of my life growing up in Greenwich borough and working in the area for many years. The site has contributors on occasion and we cover many different topics. Living and working in the area offers an insight into what is happening locally.
