Bexleyheath Broadway bus robbery appeal

Police are appealing for help form the public after a man was robbed on a bus in Bexleyheath town centre.

The incident was quite some time ago on on 28 August 2020 at 6pm. The victim was a a 17-year-old male sitting on the top deck of an 89 bus.

The suspect threatened to stab the victim, and stole cash before the suspect left at Ruskin Drive.

 

According to police: “They have carried out a number of enquiries to trace the man, and have now released a CCTV image in the hope that someone will come forward and identify him.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference CAD 5533/28AUG20.

Alternatively, to remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

  • I hope the culprit is caught and dealt with severly by the courts. The CCTV image will now hopefully lead to his arrest.. It is a shame the image was not released sooner to help the investigtion.

    Further more why he is on a bus with out a mask during the covid-19 pandemic ??
