Accident at Sun in the Sands roundabout blocks A2 towards Greenwich

Traffic is currently at a standstill on the northbound A2 at Sun in the Sands roundabout after an accident.

Traffic is queuing for miles back to Kidbrooke and through Eltham.

Traffic is flowing southbound.

This was an accident under the roundabout on the northbound carriageway. Unfortunately accidents will happen with or without the Silvertown tunnel.
