Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust records 100th Covid-19 death

The number of those who have died this year after contracting Covid19 in Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust has today reached 100.

The worst hit area is Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust with 263 deaths.

On a daily basis, the UK today saw a record high today with 854 deaths though it should be noted figures tend to fall on weekends then rise again on Tuesdays. Monday sees a lag from Sunday.

  • Sadly this figure is set to rise as people continue to flout the social distancing laws. Please please please do not think Covid-19 cannot affect you or your loved ones. The sad reality is it can this virus does not discriminate against anyone who ever you are.

So apart from absolutely essential trips for work, shopping or to get medication/prescriptions or attend medical appointments. Please just stay at home this Easter Weekend.

Lets help the NHS and help everyone out there to stay safe and well.
