Southeastern to close 60 ticket offices until further notice
Southeastern have announced they will close 60 ticket offices across the network from tomorrow.

A reduction in passenger usage due to coronavirus is given as the reason.
Southeastern were awarded an 18 month extension yesterday which begins tomorrow, with the option of 6 further months. There were no confirmed service improvement announced alongside once coronavirus ends.
Probably use this to not reopen majority of them once this is over
This will be the start of ticket office closures!
I totally agree rather than providing more staff at stations I too can see a reduction in staff at train stations and permanent ticket office closuresin the future.
Up will go fare evasion and crime at the stations and on the trains !!
