Southeastern to close 60 ticket offices until further notice

Southeastern have announced they will close 60 ticket offices across the network from tomorrow.

The full list can be seen below:

A reduction in passenger usage due to coronavirus is given as the reason.

Southeastern were awarded an 18 month extension yesterday which begins tomorrow, with the option of 6 further months. There were no confirmed service improvement announced alongside once coronavirus ends.

  • I totally agree rather than providing more staff at stations I too can see a reduction in staff at train stations and permanent ticket office closuresin the future.

    Up will go fare evasion and crime at the stations and on the trains !!
