Air ambulance lands at Abbey Wood / Plumstead border

Police and ambulances have attended an incident in Wickham Lane in Abbey Wood this afternoon.

The air ambulance also attended landing at the greenery bnear Rutherglen Road near the border with Plumstead.



The road is closed and traffic diverted with disruption to buses 96 and 422. According to TfL:

“Routes 96 and 422 are diverted due to a police incident on Wickham Lane in Plumstead. Buses are diverting via Griffin Road, Waverley Crescent, Warwick Terrace and Plumstead Common Road – missing stops from Bannockburn Road to King’s Highway in both directions.”
