Second car hijacking reported in Eltham

A second car hijacking has been reported in Eltham. This incident occurred at Glenesk Road at midday on 21st January.

A red VW Golf was stolen after a man persuaded the victim to leave their vehicle to look at an oil leak. He then entered the car and drove off.

It was last seen travelling down Eltham High Street.

It follows news that two men posing as police officers stole a car in Eltham after pulling over another lone female driver using a blue light on their BMW 4×4 dashboard or window.

That incident has an incident number to report any information by calling 101 or contacting police via Twitter @MetCC and quoting CAD 1098/17JAN.

Be aware out there.
