Teen murdered in Eltham – five arrested including people in their 50s
3:30pm UPDATE: The ages of five arrested have been revealed by Scotland Yard. They are:
- A 22 year old man
- A 29 year old woman
- A 31 year old man
- A 53 year old woman
- A 56 year old man

A fight last night saw one teen stabbed to death and another injured at Alwold Crescent in Eltham.
The incident occurred just before 10pm yesterday and police were called to a group fighting in the street.
The other injured teen is 18.
Five people have been arrested by Met police.

How sad and upsetting to hear of a another death to knife crime. My thoughts are with the teens family. This mindless thoughtless totally unnecessary violence has to stop, Much tougher action required by the Police and Courts.
I would go further and say Local Authorities need to evict those responsible and their families living at the same address from social housing if a member of the household is found to be involved in anti-social behaviour. Particularly in they are involved in gang crime, drugs, knife or gun crime. we need to take back our estates and streets. So we can walk around safely and not living in fear all the time.
Most parents are aware what their kids are up to. If not then they need to be aware and do something about it.
Another young live lost on the streets of London. Rest In Peace.

The council cannot actually evict a person if you own your own house, However, if it is an ongoing problem and the Police and Courts are aware of the courts should have the power to remove the families concerned from the property. Just like anyone else causing anti social behaviour. No one should be above the law whatever,the housing situation.
We must work together to stop these terrible crimes on our streets which are happening daily in London.
Meant to add. Of course we could simply have much tougher sentences with a lot more time actually spent in Prison I do not know the answers.
But do know something needs to be done and now to stop these attacks resulting in unnecessary loss of life,
